Piggy back mounting platform for 8" and 10" SCTs

This ultra lightweight mounting platform system is designed to fit all Meade and Celestron SCTs (LX90,LX200 etc) and support a wide range of additional accessories including counter-balance weights, guide scope rings, camera supports etc.

The platform system is made entirely of aluminium and comprises two radius supports (that fasten to the front and rear support castings of the SCT) and the rigid platform and all fasteners and fitting tools required to attach the system.

The ultra lightweight construction means this system can be left in place at all times and makes the absolute minimum impact on the telescopes drive performance.

Platform and radius brackets are made of aluminium and are finished in durable oven hardened black resin paint. All fasteners are stainless steel.
